The Washington Visit is Illinois banking’s premier federal advocacy event, providing in-person access to federal regulators and members of Congress at a time when policy decisions are shaping the future of our industry. In 2026, the Visit will also include the IBA Salute to Leadership, recognizing past board leaders, and installing the 2026–2027 Board of Directors. Advocacy and leadership come together in one powerful experience.

Registration is complimentary for IBA members (attendees cover their own travel expenses).

First time attending the IBA Washington Visit? Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to first-time attendees to help cover travel expenses. To apply for the scholarship, email Dae Swingler at dswingler@illinois.bank.
